I just wanted to let you know about a special deal that Lilla Rose is doing through the end of the month. For anyone who signs up as a consultant, there is free shipping on any of the consultant packages. I love that they are offering this for over a week (they only do this a couple of times a year and it is usually just a day or two that it is offered for) to give you a little time to think about it if you are at all interested. To find out about the specifics, you can visit my site here: Lilla Rose Business Opportunity .
I first was introduced to Lilla Rose in February of 2014. A family friend had just signed up as a consultant and my mom offered to have a home party to help her start her business. I went to the party with my girls (Essie being only a little over a week old at that time), not really expecting to like the products much for myself. I discovered how much fun a home party involving doing hair really was. 🙂 Lydia loved it, too. I bought a couple of flexi clips for the girls and a set of bobby pins for myself. I loved the bobby pins! They would hold my hair in place all day without have to be adjusted! Not only that, but they were pretty! No more ugly metal pins! Lydia and Ellie both loved their flexi clips, too. Eventually we experimented more with different sizes and styles. We were introduced to the Flexi of the Month (see the July flexi here , which I love – a sunflower!) and it got to the point where I could hardly wait until the first of the month to see what the new flexi would be! It was at that point that I started to vaguely consider signing up myself. I went to several more home parties hosted by local friends and was again reminded how much fun they were. I have always loved fixing hair. And it is something that I can do an involve my girls (who love it as much as I do!).
In October of 2014, I pretty much decided that I was not going to do Lilla Rose, but that I was going to open an Etsy shop with my skirts instead. I had a local show I was also looking forward to being a vendor at. The day of the show came …. and it POURED. LOL! My sister went along and helped out. It was a good learning experience and I discovered that while I loved doing the skirts, I didn’t have anything to set up on a table. My skirt rack only required so much space. It was shortly after that, with my husband’s encouragement, that I decided to join as a consultant. I knew I really wanted to do local events and craft shows, so I opted for the $49.99 Party Kit along with the Fast Start option, which included plenty of amazing inventory for me to start out with. I am sooo glad I chose that option! I did shows almost every week through November and December. I could not believe the public interest in Lilla Rose and how much I sold – even at tiny local events! Needless to say, I was thrilled. 🙂 It has been a great way to earn a little extra money doing something I love.
A few of the main things I have loved about being a consultant …
- No obligation or minimum sale requirement. This is a big thing for me, being a busy mom and knowing I was going to be having a new baby this year. In order to remain an active consultant, the yearly requirement is $29 retail (as in before your consultant discount)!
- 30 % discount for myself. Even if I joined as a consultant just for my own personal discount and I didn’t sell to anyone else at all, it was worth it for the discount I get!
- No expectations. Like I said already, you can join even if all you want is the discount yourself. You don’t have to do home parties, or vendor events or online (Facebook) parties.
- Great online fellowship and support group. I had no clue how much I would love the Facebook groups or how many new friends I would make online as a result of joining Lilla Rose! I haven’t ever seen such an amazing, unselfish support group! They are so quick to provide business encouragement, any kind of graphic you might need, training opportunities, and even personal encouragement and support. That has surpassed far beyond what I ever thought it would!
So, enough about that. I would be glad to answer any questions you might have. You can leave me your e – mail address if you want any more information. Now I’ll come down off my business soap box and see what interesting pictures I find for today. 🙂
