We just returned from a family vacation and enjoyed one day if warm weather, Sunday. I was so glad I took a few pictures of the girls before church because it rained almost all week! We got rained out of 6 attempts to take pictures!
Ellie’s skirt is part of a spring/summer line I am going to be featuring in the Skirted Blues skirt shop. She needed some new skirts, so I finished a few for she and Lydia before our trip. Lydia’s is the big girl version of Ellie’s. Essie’s skirt is made from a pair of jeggings.
Target has some nice white shirts for girls right now that are not too expensive. (Ellie spilled her water on hers right before the picture….oops. She also got sand burn on her nose from going down the slide at the playground on her belly and landing in the sand – on her nose! : O )
My skirt is the tan and lace one I made this spring. Ess and I need some denim skirts, but I didn’t get a chance to do that before we left. My scarf is a new Lilla Rose item that is currently available only for consultants to buy, although I think they will be releasing them to customers eventually. (Anyone who signs up as a consultant under me will get one free in the mail, along with a matching flexi as my personal gift, though!) my shoes I bought at JC Penny because I needed some flats in order to make it through all – day shows when I am on my feet. I saw them and loved them right away, so I was thrilled to try them on and find that they are also comfortable!
Now that we are back in the north, the temperatures are cooling down here again, too. We were thrilled to find the grass faintly green and the buds beginning to come out, though! Our snow and ice is all gone, so that itself makes it feel much more like spring!
